Mission
The Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) provides enrichment programs after school, and during spring, summer, and winter breaks. Our program focuses on developing the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs and interests of students through hands-on, engaging learning experiences. We offer opportunities that are student-centered and results-driven, and that don't repeat learning activities from the regular school day. Our program offers students a chance to explore diverse interests and discover their talents in order to create a successful future.
Selma Unified School District (SUSD) will strive to:
To provide new engaging learning opportunities that will help students develop new skills
To support our students' social and emotional needs
To provide students with new enrichment experiences
To provide a safe and supportive environment
To support students' academic skills in reading and math
Enrollment
All students are welcome to register for the program. We are still accepting applications. However, students will be placed on an Interest Log until sufficient space and staff is available. Please reach out to your Site Leads at your home school for more details regarding enrollment.
