Alicia Gonzalez

Alicia Gonzalez is beginning her 6th year as principal of Wilson Elementary School.  She also served as the principal of Washington Elementary School in Selma Unified for 4 years.  Prior to working in Selma Unified, Alicia worked in Dinuba Unified for 11 years where she served as a Principal, Learning Director, and Migrant Counselor.  

Alicia’s life long goal has been to give back to the community in which she lives.  She is very passionate about her work with children and her goal of creating a culture where children thrive.

Mrs. Gonzalez believes that all children can learn, but each learns in a different way.  She believes that with hard work and perseverance we can have a greater impact on children. A positive atmosphere is essential to success as well as open communication amongst staff, students, and parents.  

Mrs. Gonzalez knows that teamwork is the ultimate way a school can be successful in reaching the goal of helping a child attain their full potential.

Mrs. Gonzalez is a very visible principal and loves having the opportunity to visit the students in all facets of the school. She gets to know every student and every student gets to know her.

Alicia is married, and has two children. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her children and granddaughter.
