About Our School
Abraham Lincoln Middle School (ALMS) was established in 1994, located on 1239 Nelson Boulevard in Selma, California. ALMS is a 7th and 8th grade middle school with approximately 990 students. Our goal is to continue focusing on academic growth and to be recognized as a California Gold Ribbon School. The school offers many academic, co- and extra-curricular activities for our students such as: After School Program, Band, Choir, Drama Production, Mexican Dance, Color Guard, Percussion, Spanish, Leadership, Manufacturing and Computer Science Career Technical Education electives, and a full athletic program that is supported by the school, the district, and the community. On a monthly basis the school community celebrate Students of the Month with a luncheon recognition for exhibiting excellent character. Additionally, each semester, we recognize our students for their academic achievement with our Academic Awards nights – we completely fill the ALMS gym with students and parents each of these nights as we recognize each student by name.
