Flyer Approval
Selma Unified cooperates with community groups and non-profit organizations that sponsor activities of an educational and enriching nature for students in accordance with our Board Policy. Selma Unified does not disseminate information to schools and families regarding any political interest, religion, or for-profit service including the solicitation of funds or selling of products.
As part of our efforts to be more environmentally friendly and maintain fiscal responsibility, we distribute flyers electronically through Parent Square to our Selma Unified families. All flyers MUST be approved by the Communications Department prior to distribution through Parent Square. Below are the guidelines for flyer approval:

Your organization MUST be within Selma Unified boundaries.

The activity/program MUST benefit students and/or parents/guardians.

The activity/program MUST be sponsored by a non-profit organization or community group.

The activity/program MUST be age/grade level appropriate.

All flyer requests must be submitted at least two weeks in advance of your desired posting date.
All flyers must have the following information:

Organization name.

Service/event you are promoting.

If advertising an event, camp, meeting, etc., include the date, time, location (with address), and age levels.

Your contact information.

It is highly encouraged to submit a flyer in both English and Spanish.
Once all requirements have been met, you may submit your flyer for approval. Please email a PDF of the flyer to the Director of Communications, Jenna Perkovich, at jenna.perkovich@selmausd.org
If your flyer is approved, you will be notified via email and your flyer will be distributed through Parent Square to all Selma Unified parents/guardians.
