  • Principal's Message

Welcome to the Virtual Learning Academy online School! The Virtual Learning Academy is an educational option that offers students and families the flexibility to learn at home.  As the Principal of Selma Virtual Learning Academy TK-8 School, we are dedicated to ensure that all students are provided with quality 21st Century instruction on a daily basis with the distinct adopted core curriculum. Our goal is for every student to achieve academically and to help develop students' social well-being by making them feel a strong sense of belonging within their school and the community. We have highly qualified full-time teachers to personalize learning to maximize students' potential and to meet high-performance standards. Students will receive small group instruction with a grade-appropriate teacher who will assign and review work, provide support to students and parents, and be a steady, positive presence in your child's education.

We look forward to this opportunity to provide our Selma families with an alternative learning experience.

Virtual Learning Academy students will be taking the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) as well as the English Language Proficiency Assessment of California (ELPAC).
