  • Secondary School Opening

    Selma Unified is pleased to announce the reopening of our secondary schools starting on April 6, 2021. Selma High, Abraham Lincoln Middle School, and Heartland will welcome back students for In-Person instruction.  Selma High School will be phasing in students by grade level over two weeks.     We are happy to announce that the Governing Board has approved the reopening of elementary schools, starting on March 2, 2021. Please see the letter provided for additional information.

Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan

  • On June 29, 2020, Governor Newsom signed Senate Bill (SB) 98 Education Finance. This bill states that the LCAP and an annual update to the LCAP will not be required for the 2020–2021 school year.  In place of the LCAP districts will be required to complete the Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan (LCP). The completion of this new plan requires stakeholder engagement and input, including a Public Comment opportunity. On September 22, 2020, the Selma Unified school board approved the final version of the Selma Unified Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan.
