Congratulations to the Lady Bear Softball team and their D4 Section Championship won on at Margie Wright Field. The Lady Bears returned to the section championship and the third time was executed perfectly. Bearnation has achieved the first ever FIVE Section Championships (Football, Boys Basketball, Girls Wrestling, Boys Wrestling and this spring Lady Bears Softball.

America’s service academies are some of the most prestigious educational institutions in the world, that offer students an excellent education in addition to a commission as a military officer. Each year, David Valadao has the privilege of nominating students from our community to our nation's Military Service Academies.
If you, or one of your students, is interested in learning more about this opportunity, please attend the U.S. Military Service Academy Information Night on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Hanford West High School located at 1150 W. Lacey Blvd. from .
This informational event is recommended for all high school and middle school students who reside in California’s 21st Congressional District (check residency) and are interested in attending a military academy. Students and their families will have an opportunity to meet firsthand with representatives from the U.S. Military Service Academies and their local Congressional Office.
Current and prospective Academy applicants can learn about the unique educational advantages available at the services academies and about the Congressional nomination process. A printable, informational flyer can be found here.
