Abraham Lincoln Middle School is located in Selma, CA in Fresno County. Seven elementary schools feed into Abraham Lincoln Middle School, as students have an opportunity to participate in activities, athletics, and other extra-curricular activities. 978 students attend the only Middle School in Selma, CA. The staff includes 48 fully credentialed teachers; as they are all dedicated to ensuring the academic success of every student and providing a safe and productive learning environment. The school also includes an administrative team that consists of a: Principal, two Assistant Principals, Program Manager, and an At Risk Counselor.

Abraham Lincoln Middle School has six classroom wings. The first two contains our 8th grade Academic Block classes (English and History), the third contains the Elective classes, the fourth has the Mathematics classes, the fifth contains Science classes, and the other has the 7th grade Academic Block classes (English and History). Features of the school include: Four tennis courts, one baseball field, two softball fields, two soccer fields, a gymnasium with boys and girls locker rooms, and an open area that has a marked regulation sized track. Additional facilities include a cafeteria, library, a staff room, two computer labs, and one mobile laptop lab.

The ethnic composition of ALMS's student population includes 85% Hispanic or Latino, 7.4% White, 4.8% Asian, .4% American Indian or Alaskan Native, .9% African American, 1.2% other.
Students identified as ELL represent 39.4% of our student population.

Students identified as SED (Socioeconomically Disadvantaged) consist of 79.1% of our student population.

A positive learning environment is essential for student success. Abraham Lincoln Middle School works diligently to create the conditions that will allow students to reach their highest potential. Key areas of emphasis include: effective discipline, student recognition, resource services, and teacher collaboration.
